Skotti Grill Max almost perfect

Love Skotti Grill & accessories, love the Max even more considering the groups of people I’m around when I grill. For the grill itself, only issue I have is it needs a “drip tray”, 1st test with pre-cooked brats & hot dogs, juices leaked down onto the carry tarp bag I used as a firemat, so need to find something hopefully stainless steel over aluminum to minimize mess. Not clear if original Skotti burner units same length so I could use the new propane version with the Max but used a 3rd party propane to isobutane adapter with no problems. Got the bundle with the cap, really the cap should go with the grill & the both grill model’s tarp bags should be large enough to hold the cap pieces, slots for the tong pieces & flip, & additional grill accessories. Overall, very impressed with the Skotti grill original & Max, does not take much room when traveling or on foot…

Very high-quality gas barbecue with a top pack size

Unfortunately, a grease tray like the one on the small Skotti is not yet available. I have now found 2 Durandal grill trays on Amazon, these fit exactly on the base plate of the Skotti Max and catch all the fat perfectly. Super easy to clean and can be used as pans for grilled vegetables etc.

Top quality, you can see and feel the quality and workmanship. Simply brilliant how easy the grill is to clean - that was one of the most important reasons. It's really easy to set up and take down.

I really wanted the Max, the XL version. This also makes indirect grilling possible. I ordered the cap at the same time. The assembly is very simple and goes quickly. The burners develop a good heat. The grill grates are really solid. Steaks and sausages turned out very well. Bacon in a cast iron pan was perfect. There is no plancha yet, which would be difficult to realize. I have now ordered a cast iron plate and will put it on the grid. Initial conclusion: a wonderful travel grill.

top quality, great fun. finally the sausages are really nice and crispy again. and the steaks are also really nice and juicy. should have had the skotti sooner ;-)

WHAT FUEL SOURCE DOES SKOTTI USE?

With SKOTTI, you can use gas, wood or charcoal - you decide! Make sure to fill the grease pan with some water when using gas! If you like to use wood or charcoal, fill up the grease pan with some dirt or sand.

WHICH GAS DO I NEED FOR SKOTTI?

The choice is yours! SKOTTI comes equipped with an gas hose for the standard camping gas fuel canister, widely available in stores that carry outdoor products for cooking of any kind. If you prefer to use the regular 1 lb. propane tanks, just find the matching SKOTTI Connect adapter in our shop and you are good to go with even more power!

HOW DO I CLEAN SKOTTI?

For cleaning, we recommend soaking the grill in warm water (without the burner tube and gas hose) with a dash of soap and then rubbing it with a steel sponge. The cleaning should take no more than 5 minutes. By the way: at high heat, the stainless steel will take on some color, this is completely normal no problem at all!

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SET UP? AND DO I NEED ANY TOOLS?

With its easy assembly system, you'll have it up and running in just one minute flat - no tools required! That's right, you don't need a fancy toolkit or a degree in engineering to get this assembled. Just set it up, light it up, and get ready to grill like a true pro!

HOW CAN I RETURN ITEMS?
