I ordered the SKOTTI grill and cap based on reviews I'd watched on YouTube. The shipping was free and super fast!! After a couple of tries (and reading the instructions twice!) I set it up. I disassembled and reassembled once more to develop a routine and the second time was much easier, of course.

I bought a Skotti at home in Europe. We have only Butan/Propane Gas cartridges here. These cartridges fit to the hose supplied by Skotti. In the US and Canada you have the green 1lb Propane Gas Cylinders by Coleman or Bernzomatic and such. For these an adapter is required. You can buy them cheaply and at high quality here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003501332933.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.85.599c1802nbX3Y4 For a real steak our Skotti does perform a bit weak on a Butane/Propane cartridge. However, during our recent trip to Canada it turned out to be a real powerhouse in combination with the green Propane Cylinders.

These pikes are great. They're flat so the food does spin on the skewers. And their shape keep then on the right side while cooking. An excellent accessory to the Skotti Grill!

The Skotti is just the right size for us as a family, space-saving and ready to use without a long wait. As Full-time RV living people, we needed a small outdoor cooking solution. 4 years into living this way we stumbled across Skotti! Durable, easy to set up and use, and multiple heat sources. We love the small footprint but big enough grilling surface for the two of us. Great customer service. Too!
Great heat transfer, the hood top is a plus to maintain heat making it more efficient. Recommend putting together several times to be acquainted how it works. Well made!
