Instructions – Pizza Dough Recipe for the Pizza Stone on the Gas Grill! Are you ready to dive into the world of dough acrobatics and create a pizza dough that will make even Italian grandmas jealous? Grab your apron and get ready for a wild ride, because today we’re making the ultimate pizza dough – SKOTTI Style! This isn’t just any dough; it’s a legendary base that will catapult your pizza into gourmet heaven. Ready? Let's go!
Step 1: Mix & Chill! Throw all the ingredients into a bowl and let your mixer knead on low for 5 minutes until a smooth dough forms. Then let the dough chill for 30 minutes at room temperature, covered so it rises nicely. Pro tip: Let the dough do its thing on a floured surface.
Step 2: Form the Dough Balls! After the 30 minutes is up, divide the dough into perfect pieces (about 70 g each) and shape them into round little balls. Dust the dough balls with a bit of starch and place them in one of our SKOTTI Boxes to keep them fresh!
Step 3: Fridge Party! Now, let the dough balls party in the fridge for 3 to 4 hours. But hey, remember to take them out 2 hours before baking so they can reach room temperature.
Step 4: Roll and Bake It! Finally, roll out your dough and top it with your choice of ingredients – get creative. Heat your gas grill with the stone at high temperature and bake your masterpiece. And just like that, your homemade pizza is ready. Time to dig in, enjoy!
Warning, Addiction Risk! Due to the explosion of flavors, you might end up with a one-sided diet that’s not so great for your body and mind – wink, wink. So, we recommend trying other grill recipes in between. How about our crispy flammkuchen or pizza rolls?
